- Via Grenoble (100km): A51 motorway then RN91 via the Col du Lautaret.
- Via Chambéry: Maurienne A43 motorway then:
  - Via the Fréjus tunnel, Saulce d’Oulx (Italy), the Col du Montgenèvre then Briançon
  - or directly via the Col du Galibier (closed in winter)
From Italy:
- Via Turin A32 exit Saulce d'Oulx then via the Col du Montgenèvre RN94 and Briançon
- Coming from the south of France: From Marseille, Montpellier, by the A51 motorway towards Sisteron, exit La Saulce (90km), Embrun, Briançon RN 94.
